Robert J. Connelly
Since 1997, Bob has served as President of Madico, Inc. Under Bob’s guidance, Madico has emerged as a global leader in the laminating and coating of multi-layer flexible films for the Energy Conservation, Renewable Energy, and Safety & Security markets.
Directly as a result of his success to drive cultural change, the Boston Globe recognized Madico as one of the “Top Places to Work” in 2009, 2010, and 2011. In 2011, the Massachusetts Chamber of Business and Industry sought out and honored Madico with the Employer of Choice award.
Prior to joining Madico, Mr. Connelly spent 25 years with Johnson & Johnson (J&J), where he held a number of key positions in the Health Care, Consumer, and Professional Products divisions. Mr. Connelly was in charge of the company’s Midwest Surgical Dressings operations. J&J awarded Bob with Manager of the Year honors.
Mr. Connelly earned his business degree from DePaul University. He has completed advanced study at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business, where he focused on manufacturing and strategic planning. He is certified in Production & Inventory control from DePaul University, and he completed negotiation training at MIT.
