AIMCAL, the Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators and CEMA, the Converting Equipment Manufacturers Association are pleased to announce Applied Web Handling Conference 2008, a technical conference devoted to advanced web handling and converting technologies within the Converting, Paper, and Plastics industries.

The subject matter will be new technologies and/or applied research, current or future, that will directly impact all aspects of web handling and converting productivity. Exceptional and innovative web handling techniques, equipment, design, materials or process improvements will be the core subject matter for the conference. The target audience is technical professionals within engineering, quality and production control functions.

Presentations are selected upon the following criteria:

• Applicability to the advancement of the web handling and converting processes.
• Uniqueness and innovativeness of new technology and its contribution to the Industry
• Value to the technical/production community
