Stay Competitive — Tools, Techniques, and Materials

The AIMCAL Web Coating and Handling Conference brings together the converting community to advance the technologies of web processing, handling and finishing. Organized and hosted by the Association of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL) the conference convenes leading industry professionals to improve efficiencies, reduce waste and introduce new technologies designed to improve competitiveness. The conference brings the state of the art to the plant floor, addressing the problems and opportunities that are part of every manufacturing process. Unlike market-based conferences, the AIMCAL Web Coating and Handling Conference focuses on technology advancements and best practices that improve quality, productivity and profitability across many markets. It is open to both AIMCAL members and non-members.

Three Session Tracks — New Web Handling Track for 2012!

For the first time, the AIMCAL technical conference is organized into three concurrent session tracks — Web Coating, Vacuum Web Coating and Web Handling. The formerly stand alone Applied Web Handling Conference (AWEB) has been added to the Web Coating Conference agenda, creating a new web handling track. The expanded program brings even greater resources and opportunities to attendees at no additional cost. Attendees are free to go between tracks to whichever presentations hold the most interest. A special Roll-to-Roll Market overview track, organized by AWA Research, has been added on Wednesday afternoon bringing another new element to this impressive lineup of technical presentations.

Outstanding Technical Programs and Networking Opportunities

In addition to the outstanding conference program, there are TableTop receptions on Sunday and Monday evenings to allow attendees the opportunity to meet with industry suppliers in an informal and relaxed reception environment. Informative keynotes are scheduled on Sunday and Tuesday evenings. A golf outing on Tuesday afternoon and a 5k run in support of the Bernard Henry Scholarship Fund round out the optional networking events. Additionally, your conference registration includes breakfast Monday through Wednesday and lunch on Monday and Wednesday. The conference wraps up on Wednesday evening with a Farewell Reception and the Matteucci award presentations for best papers at the conference.
