(TJWA) announced today their 2012 Web Handling Workshop schedule, to be held at Optimation’s Media Conveyance Facility (MCF) at 1600 Lexington Avenue, Rochester, NY 14606. The workshops are designed to help attendees tackle common problems with products produced on a web.
The workshops, led by co-instructors Dr. Kevin Cole (Optimation) and Mr. Timothy Walker (TJWA), offer a half-lecture, half-demonstration approach. Mr. Walker and Dr. Cole discussed the benefits of the two-dimensional approach to learning web handling.
“Our series of web handling workshops are one-of-a-kind, combining classroom seminars with on-machine demonstrations,” said Walker. “These workshops are held in a true engineering lab, not a hotel conference room.”
“We provide students with real-world training that will reinforce the principles and concepts that are discussed during the lecture,” said Cole. “This hands-on approach allows them to take what they’ve learned back to their line, and work on any issues they’re experiencing.”
