2020 AIMCAL R2R Conference, Orlando, FL
The AIMCAL R2R Conference has been a champion of roll-to-roll processing, and the converting industry for many years. If you are a newcomer to this annual event, you will see why it consistently rates high as a valuable resource for anyone who has interest in the R2R process. The conference has steadily grown by delivering solid technical programming and valuable networking opportunities to attendees.
Presentations on web coating and laminating, vacuum web coating, web handling and winding, adhesives and coatings, market overviews and plenary keynote addresses highlight a packed agenda. Leading consultants, academia and OEM’s share best practices and new research and technology.
TableTop receptions featuring over 80 tabletop exhibitors from top suppliers, converters and consultants in the Industry will be open Sunday through Wednesday of the conference. These informal settings are a great way to meet others in the industry and we encourage all attendees to take advantage of the receptions to meet your peers. Food and drink is provided. (more details below)
Vendor Session/ "AIMMy" Award Night
You do not want to miss the Vendor Session on Sunday evening. Anybody with something to sell has 3 minutes…no more…to make their pitch. Exceed your 3 minutes and you will be booed off the stage. Bring the audience to their feet with applause – and you may win the “AIMMy” the award given to the most entertaining vendor infomercial. Join in and have some fun! Opening reception immediately follows….
The John Matteucci Technical Award
John Matteucci was recognized around the world as a leader in the field of web coatings. His inspiration to both AIMCAL and the international conferences on vacuum web coating has led to a special award being given to the authors of the best paper in each of the Web Coating and the Vacuum Web Coating tracks. The Matteucci Awards will be presented to the authors at Wednesday Night's Farewell Reception.
Optional Networking Activities
Optional activities provide a fun and relaxing environment to network with fellow attendees.
Corporate Sponsorships / TableTops
A Corporate Sponsor Package, available only to AIMCAL and SPE members and conference speakers, includes:
Receive high exposure during multipleTableTop evening receptions and when possible – during meals and breaks throughout the conference. The purpose of these receptions is to network with others and visit the tabletops. We keep it simple with everything having to fit on a 6’ table. There is no better way to let the attendees know who you are and open your company to new business connections.
You will have many opportunities to network with people at the R2R conference. Note: All materials must be contained on the 6-foot table. The only exception to this is the pull-up banner displays that can be placed behind the table.
Vendor Session And "AIMMy" Award
From 6-7pm on Sunday. A “fun” opening to the conference where anyone in attendance can give an infomercial about their products and services. We include a competition called the “AIMMy Award” for the most entertaining talk. This is done to give our vendors the opportunity to promote to everyone in attendance. It really represents what AIMCAL is. A fun environment that is all about the people. Connecting companies to do business with one another, while staying relevant on the latest trends and professional development to further the industry.
