Flexo Wash and Mike Potter celebrate 20 years 

Louisville, KY-based Flexo Wash and Mike Potter recently celebrated 20 years in business as the Northern American distributor for Flexo Wash ApS, an international company based in Denmark. Mike Potter (second from left above) established Flexo Wash LLC in August 2002 to provide Flexo Wash cleaning solutions in North America for the flexographic, offset and gravure package-printing industries.

Starting with just three employees, Flexo Wash now has over 20 employees, with representatives in the United States, Mexico and Canada. Flexo Wash is a family-owned business, with Mike Potter as chairman, his son Patrick as president and his son Ryan as vp-Sales.

After 20 years, Flexo Wash now proudly has over 1,200 machines in 700 facilities across North America. The secret to success, according to Mike Potter, is simple: “We sell equipment but we are in the service business.” Putting the customer’s needs first has always been Potter’s mantra, and it shows in his relationships throughout the industry.

Flexo Wash products will extend the life of anilox rolls and sleeves, gravure cylinders, flexo plates, flexo plate sleeves, press parts and rotary screens, while decreasing the make-ready down time between job runs. Customer satisfaction is their primary priority. They stand by and guarantee every product they sell.
