In this video clip, we will outline the causes and cures for the rare crepe wrinkle as well as related winding defects such as cigars, core bursts and corrugations. As we will see, they are caused by non-uniform, interlayer slippage induced by a rolling nip, such as the wound roll against a layon roller or drum.
